Babtism Guidelines

At least one parent must be an active Catholic. Two godparents are required, but a proxy can be chosen if godparents cannot attend the Baptism. At least one of the godparents must be a practicing Catholic.

Both parents and godparents must participate in the pre-baptismal class, either at Our Lady of Tahoe, online or at their home parish. Parents and godparents who are not registered in our parish need a letter from their home parish stating that they have attended the pre-baptismal class and are practicing Catholics. If parents are registered in another parish, a note granting permission from their parish is required.

The fee for baptizing at Our Lady of Tahoe is $50. Fees must be paid before the Baptism. No one will be denied the sacrament because of financial difficulties.
