Women's Guild

Womens Guild

The Women's Guild is a group of Catholic ladies who share their faith, blessings, time, talents, and friendship. The Guild helps the Church and the community by providing college student scholarships, decorating, cooking, serving at some parish events, and giving clean linens for the altar. At times, the Guild is also asked to help people who are ill, bedridden, or unable to drive.

Funds for the Guild projects are primarily raised through the artistic talents of the Pinecone Ladies and sales of the parish Gift Shop. The ladies create crosses, Christmas wreaths, and other items with a combination of dry leaves, pinecones, dried flowers, and other things. Other ladies make rosaries and religious bracelets, and earrings. The craft room is usually open on Thursday mornings for those interested in learning the arts and crafts of making a pinecone cross and other items sold in the gift shop.

The Women's Guild usually meets on the third Tuesday of the month. Membership is open to anyone wanting to experience the joys of pinecone arts and crafts, volunteering in their Church, giving to the community, and socializing.
